The opening I have chosen for media studies is Exit Through The Gift Shop, a Banksy film. The opening fits into the film well as it sets up the pretext of them films theme, that grafitti is not reckless vandalism, it's street art. It appealed to me as I've seen the film before and have traveled to the UK and seen his work.
The opening title is a montage of street artists doing their work.

A very interesting choice! I am looking forward to hearing your analysis of the techniques used in this opening and why. To complete this first section of the assessment, you need to describe what happens in this opening scene and also add more depth to your answer to how it links to the film as a whole and why it appeals to you. Then you will be ready to move on to the next section, about how film techniques have been used by the director to establish a mood and set the film within a genre.
